Vivo X23 spotted on Antutu with Snapdragon 670 processor ahead of launch

Vivo is all set to unveil the Vivo X23, along with the Vivo V11 on September 6 at an event in China. The Chinese manufacturer has posted an official teaser of the handset which suggests that the device will feature a ‘Waterdrop’ notch design and come with the fourth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone has also appeared previously on other benchmarking websites such as Geekbench and passed through several certifications. Now,the Vivo X23 has been spotted on benchmarking site AnTuTu with model number Vivo V1809A featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 mobile processor.The latest Antutu listing further confirms that the device will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Besides, the device managed to pull-off a score of around 157,000 points in Antutu, which is pretty solid given it will be positioned as a mid-range phone.

As per earlier leaks and rumours, the Vivo X23 will have a ‘waterdrop’ style notched display which boasts a screen to body ratio of 91.2 percent. The handset will feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. Under the hood, the Vivo X23 will likely get powered by Snapdragon 670 processor bundled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That said, some sources indicate the device would run Snapdragon 710 processor. Now, this suggests that Vivo could possibly launch different variants of the handset.

In the photography department, the smartphone is expected to come with 12MP+5MP dual rear cameras, the same setup found on some of the company’s high-end offerings. The device is also said to offer a super wide-angle camera. In addition, the handset’s camera will offer AI-powered features for enhanced photography. The Vivo X23’s camera will also have a 3D facial recognition feature similar to the one found on Mi 8 Explorer Edition. for selfies, the device is a said to come with 25MP front-facing shooter with AI enhancements such as AI portrait mode.

Elsewhere, the device is said to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and DAC audio for high-end sound quality. As fas as OS goes, the Vivo X23 will likely run Android 8.1 with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top. The company is also expected to launch the handset in India soon, most likely by the end of this month.
