Pebble Smartwatches Launched in India Starting at Rs. 5,999

The US-based company, Pebble launched four smartwatches for the Indian market on Thursday. Ranging from Rs. 5,999 to Rs. 15,999, these watches are available on Amazon.

Pebble founder and CEO Eric Migicovsky made a statement saying that the company sees a promising future in the Indian market. The possibility of establishing a connected user community and developers does not fail to attract.

The device has a 1.26-inch display with an ultra-low-powered 144×168 pixel sharp LCD. The battery lasts more than seven days.

Packed with Apple Health and Google Fit, the device is clearly aimed at a mass who primarily use their smartwatches to keep track of their fitness data. Its timely, accurate tracking along with easy to view notifications, makes it the best device in its range.

The fitness data is taken by the device independently, which means that it can be used for other apps also.

Other features include short voice notes, alarm, etc. which is not very different from other similar devices.

What sets it apart from its counterparts is its completeness at an affordable price. The likes of Fitbit and Apple sure have their niche, but Pebble watches offer so much more in form of features and looks and at prices that do not scare the living daylights out of someone’s paycheck.

It is no longer just a handy plastic watch with fancy fonts! In the Indian market, such devices are bound to thrive!
