Motorola Moto X Force

Motorola has launched world’s first shatterproof display smartphone, Moto X Force in India at a launch event held in New Delhi. The Moto X Force is the Indian version of the Droid Turbo 2, which was launched in the United States in October 2015.

Equipped with a shatterproof display with the help of the latest ShatterShield technology, the Motorola Moto X Force features multiple layers of material, which include proprietary hard coat for exterior protection and a shield for protecting the inner lens.

Featured with a dual-layer touchscreen panel for safeguarding touch-sensitivity in addition to a rigid aluminium chassis, the Moto X Force provides effective shock absorption and also prevents the screen from cracking.

Moreover, the company claims that the display has been manufactured in such a way it won’t crack or shatter for up to four years. Capable of withstanding the force even if dropped on a concrete slab from a huge height, the Moto X Force includes water-repellent nano-coating.

Talking about the specifications, the Moto X Force flaunts a 5.4-inch QHD (1440×2560) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz and 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Available in both 32GB and 64GB internal storage variants, the phone can be expandable up to 2B via microSD card.

On the photography department, the Moto X Force features a 21-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture including dual-LED flash and Phase Detect Autofocus. On the other hand, the 5-megapixel front-facing shooter integrates flash and a f/2.0 aperture.

Powered by a 3,760mAh battery, the single-SIM Moto X Force is equipped with Quick Charging technology and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with support for 4G LTE in addition to Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
