A new smartphone from LG, dubbed as the LG V30 has now surfaced on the web. The handset will reportedly pack the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. Some sources even suggest the LG will ditch the flagship G line in favor of its V series of smartphones.
The upcoming LG G6 flagship is all set for an unveiling at MWC 2017. Surprisingly, the upcoming flagship won’t run the latest Snapdragon processor, as sources suggest Samsung has the first dibs on the SoC’s initial production run for the Galaxy S8 to release next month. Hence, it seems the LG V30 will be the company’s phone to come with the latest Snapdragon 835 processor inside.
LG V30 Specs and Features
According to a post on Weibo via AndroidPure, would pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor built using the 10nm process. Also, the smartphone is said to pack a hefty 6GB of RAM. The report also adds that the LG V30 could come equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back as well on the front. Also, the smartphone is likely to get enhanced Quad-DAC capabilities compared to its predecessor – the LG V20. This would offer audiophiles a more immersive audio experience while watching their favorite TV shows or listening to music. Some sources also point towards the possibility of LG ditching the secondary display on the upcoming LG V30.
Last but not the least, the report also suggests that the LG V30 will launch in the 2nd half of 2017, which shouldn’t come across as a surprise as the Korean manufacturer also launched LG V20 in the 2nd half of 2016.
As with all other rumors, readers are advised to take this information with a healthy pinch of salt. More details are likely to surface in the near future, possibly during LG’s press event at MWC 2017 where the Korean manufacturer will unveil the upcoming LG G6.
