Honor Play at Rs 13,999? Huawei, Honor to bring massive Discounts in Amazon & Flipkart Sale

With Republic Day around the corner, Amazon and Flipkart have already started promoting their upcoming sales in India. That being said, Huawei and its sub-brand Honor has revealed massive discounts on its latest smartphones during the upcoming sales.

Notably, both the Amazon Great Indian Sale and the Flipkart Republic Day sale will commence on January 20. Flipkart will end the sale on Jan 22 followed by Amazon on Jan 23. Note that the sale will start early on January 19 (8 PM onwards) for Flipkart Plus Members. Whereas, the early access for Prime members will begin on Jan 19 starting 12 PM.

The sale will bring discounts ranging from Rs. 3,100 to Rs. 9,800 on selected Honor smartphones. This will include cuts on exchange offers as well as the instant 10% discount on purchases made using SBI and HDFC cards on Flipkart and Amazon, respectively. Let’s start with the discounts available on Huawei, Honor smartphones in the coming sale.

Huawei, Honor Discounts: Amazon Great Indian Sale

Honor will be offering price cuts on certain smartphones including Honor Play, Honor 8X, Honor 8C and Honor 7C on Amazon Great Indian Sale. Following the same, Huawei too will be giving discounts on popular Huawei P20 Lite, Huawei Nova 3 and Huawei Nova 3i smartphones for the period.

Honor Play

The popular gaming smartphone- Honor Play‘s base model with 4GB of RAM, will now be sold for Rs. 13,999, down from Rs. 19,999. Whereas, the top-end model with 6GB RAM will be sold for Rs. 17,999, instead of its current list price of Rs. 23,999 during the sale. Using an HDFC card will further bring it down to Rs.12,599.

Counting in the additional card discounts and exchange offers, Honor Play is a steal for the price. As for the specs, it packs in the flagship Kirin 970 processor, a beautiful 6.3″ Full-HD+ notched display, dual rear cameras and a massive 3750mAh battery with fast charging. Honor 8X

Although the beautiful looking Honor 8X ain’t getting any price cuts as of now, Amazon will be providing discounts as exchange offers with the smartphone. Consumers can avail an additional Rs. 1,000 off on exchange for the 4/64GB variant, and an additional Rs. 2,000 off on exchange for the 6/64GB model. Moreover, you can still enjoy 10% off on the use of HDFC card, bringing the starting price down to Rs. 13,499.

As for the specs, the Honor 8X sports a 6.5″ Full-HD+ notched display, the new Kirin 710 SoC, 20MP+2MP AI dual rear camera, 16MP front-facing camera, and a massive 3750mAh battery. You can check our detailed Honor 8X review for more.

Honor 8C

The Honor 8C was launched just a few months back, in November. While the smartphone arrived for Rs. 11,999 for the 4/32GB model, it’ll now be sold for as low as Rs. 10,999 during the sale period. Using an HDFC card will further bring it down to Rs. 9,899.

Talking of the specs, Honor 8C bears a 6.26-inch HD+ Notched display alongside Snapdragon 632 SoC, 13+2MP dual rear camera and 8MP front camera. All of this is backed by a whopping 4,000mAh battery. You can read our Honor 8C review here.

Honor 7C

Similar to the 8C, Honor 7C will be available for as low as Rs. 8,499, down from its current selling price of Rs. 9,999 for the 3/32GB model.  As of now, the company hasn’t announced any discounts for the 4/64GB model of the 7C, just like the Honor 8C.

Notable highlights of Honor 7C include a 5.99 HD+ display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. For photography, the phone gets a 13+2 MP dual rear camera setup, followed by an 8MP front camera. Furthermore, a 3,000mAh battery backs all of this.

Huawei P20 Lite

Launched last year, Huawei P20 Lite has been one of the popular budget smartphones by the company. As a part of the sale, Huawei is offering a price cut of Rs. 7,000. Usually sold for Rs. 19,999, one can grab the handset for just Rs. 12,999 during Amazon Great Indian sale. Also, using an HDFC card will further bring it down to Rs. 11,700.

The Huawei P20 Lite gets a beautiful design with a 5.84″ full-HD+ notched display on top. Under the hood, it is powered by Kirin 659 SoC, backed by a 3,000mAh power cell. Huawei Nova 3

The premium mid-range Huawei Nova 3 will be available at Rs. 29,999 during the Great Indian Sale. Yes, the company is offering Rs. 5,000 cut on its usual selling price of Rs 34,999. With an HDFC card, you’ll be able to get the handset for just Rs. 28,500.

The main USP of the smartphone is dual camera setups, both on the front (24+2MP) and back (24+16MP). Under the hood, it is powered by the Kirin 970 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Huawei Nova 3i

The Huawei Nova 3i is apparently a toned down version of the Nova 3 smartphone. The company will be offering a massive discount of Rs. 4,000 on the Nova 3i, which currently retails for Rs. 20,990. During Amazon’s Great Indian sale, the device will be available for Rs. 16,990 excluding the HDFC instant discount.

Huawei P20 Pro

The Huawei P20 Pro recently got a price cut of Rs. 5,000, bringing it down to Rs. 59,999. The price will stay the same during the sale. However, the brand will compensate with an exchange discount of Rs 5,000 along with a three-month no-cost EMI option.

The P20 Pro has a competent 40+20+8 MP Triple Rear camera set up at the back with support for up to 5X hybrid zoom. Notable highlights include a 6.1-inch full HD+ OLED display, Kirin 970 processor, and a massive 4,000mAh battery.

Huawei, Honor Discounts: Flipkart Republic Days

Similar to Amazon, Honor is propounding attractive offers on budget smartphones on Flipkart’s coming sale. This includes the recently launched Honor 9N, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 7A, and Honor 7S smartphones. Additionally, one can enjoy 10% instant discounts on use of SBI cards during the sale.

Honor 9N

Honor will be selling its Honor 9N for Rs. 8,499, down from its list price of Rs. 9,999, for the 3/32GB model under Flipkart’s Republic Day Sale. On the other hand, the 4/64GB model will be offered for Rs. Rs. 10,499, down from its list price of Rs. 11,999.

The Honor 9N gets a beautiful gloss back followed by a 5.84″ FHD+ display upfront. Moving on, we have Kirin 659 SoC, dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera, a 16MP front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Honor 9 Lite

Similarly, the last year’s Honor 9 Lite will be offered for the same price as the 9N. The 3/32GB model of the device will be up for Rs. 8,499, down from its current price of Rs. 9,999. Whereas, its 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant will be available at Rs. 10,999, down from its list price of Rs. 11,999.

The Honor 9 Lite shares most of its specifications with the Honor 9N. We have Kirin 659 SoC, 5.65″ FHD+ display, and a 3,000mAh battery. Not to mention, the phone offers dual rear (13MP + 2MP) as well as dual front (13MP + 2MP) camera setups.

Honor 7AHonor 7A 2

The Honor 7A is an entry-level offering from the company, launched at Rs. 8,999. Under Flipkart’s Republic Days Sale, the handset will be sold for Rs. 7,499. It has already faced a price cut of Rs. 1,000 lately.

As for the specs, the Honor 7A sports a 5.70-inch display with HD+ resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 430 chipset and has a 3,000mAh battery underneath. The phone also brings in a dual camera 13MP + 2MP setup at the back, accompanied by an 8MP selfie shooter.
