Videocon, the India-bred smartphone maker, has introduced its latest smartphone Videocon Cube 3 in India. The smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE capabilities and features a panic button, which is in accordance with the recently announced government mandate of including a panic button for safety purpose. The Videocon Cube 3 is priced at Rs. 8,490.
The company has integrated panic button into the power button through an app called ‘SOS-Be Safe.‘ With this, you can send an alert immediately to all your listed emergency numbers. Besides this, the app offers a host of features like showing nearby police stations, Alert, and more.

Coming on to its specs, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display. Powering the phone is a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz bundled with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, expandable up to 128GB. The Dual-SIM Videocon Cube 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The camera optics include 13MP primary camera with dual-LED flash and a secondary camera of 5MP. It packs a considerable battery of 3000mAh size, which is good for a budget smartphone. Connectivity options include Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and Wi-Fi.
The Cube 3 are available to buy at retail stores in the country. At a price of Rs. 8,490, the Videocon Cube 3 is a sweet deal accommodating dedicated safety features that are missing on most of the smartphones.
