Audio quality from the dual-8-watt speakers is surprisingly good with a heavy base for a unit this small. And I experienced no noticeable distortion even at high volumes. I listen mostly to techno, house and deep house. And I am thinking of expanding my music library just because of this lovely little speaker. Some of my favorite tracks sounded really nice on the Tagg Loop.

Bluetooth pairing is simple & reconnection is fast. The range is better than average, and I experienced no drop-outs or loss-of-connection issues. The speakerphone function works well, automatically pausing playback when accepting a call and delivers clear audio from the caller.

Elsewhere, the speaker gets powered by a 2400-mAh battery which is rated to deliver a music playback time of 4 hours on full charge and takes about 2 hours to reach full charge.
