Samsung Singapore has confirmed the launch of Blue Coral variant of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge on November 5. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, it seems that the company is putting all efforts to focus on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. These two handsets are the only two flagships, which you can consider to buy until the arrival of Galaxy S8 in 2017.
According to reports, Samsung is gearing up to port Galaxy Note 7’s Blue color paint to the Galaxy S7 edge. It is now confirmed that the variant will be available for purchase on November 5.
Even though Samsung hasn’t revealed any renders of the upcoming handset, we can guess the look from the blue S7 edge of Verizon. Moreover, there are reports that the Blue Coral S7 edge will look exactly same as the Galaxy Note 7 blue variant.
We don’t have any idea as to whether the Blue Coral S7 edge will be launched in regions outside Singapore. However, we expect Samsung to launch in India soon since gadget enthusiasts have a craze for colors.
In the meantime, Samsung has started to roll out October security patch for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge in India. The company has pushed the OTA upgrade. However, if you are unable to receive the update, you need to keep your fingers crossed since the update is rolled out in stages.
If you are crazy, navigate to Settings | About Device | Download Updates and verify the presence of any update manually. You can also wait till you receive a notification prompting you to upgrade. However, you will get the notification only if you have at least 50 percent battery alongside a stable Wi-Fi connection.
