Microsoft Surface Phone Release Date: Spring 2017

Earlier, there were rumors about the launch of new Surface Phone by the end of 2016. However, the company has reportedly decided to delay the release of the new device to integrate latest cutting edge technologies.

Talking about specifications, the Surface Phone is expected to feature Snapdragon 830 CPU. According to analysts, this processor will be released by Qualcomm only in 2017 and hence Microsoft has decided to postpone the release to around May/June 2017.

The upcoming Snapdragon 830 processor will be developed using a 10nm manufacturing process. Hence, you can expect great improvements related to power consumption, multitasking and enhanced efficiency during gaming. The upcoming processor will also run cooler than the previous counterparts.

Windows 10 Mobile Surface Phone specs: 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 830 CPU, 500GB Storage

On the internals front, the upcoming Surface Phone will be shipped with 8GB RAM, which enables you to work lag free. The phone will be more or less equal to that of a full-fledged laptop. Moreover, the device will offer a 500GB internal storage capacity.

There are rumors that Microsoft will also manufacture Surface Phone variants with 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage flavors. According to reports coming in, you can expect a 4GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage, 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage and so on.

Surface Phone Price: It will start from $400
