OnePlus 5 was launched in June this year and was an instant hit among mass audience and OnePlus fan for its unique offering without putting a dent like Samsung and Apple flagships. And now, we are expecting that company might continue the OnePlus 5 series by introducing the OnePlus 5T smartphone. Last year the company launched the OnePlus 3 in June, and the smartphone was an instant hit world wide.
The device packs top of the line hardware specifications giving stiff competition to the likes of Samsung, LG, and Sony. Four months later, the company has come up with OnePlus 3T; a successor to the OnePlus 3 which was quite similar to the original variant, but had a little edge over with a powerful chipset, enhanced battery, and front camera.
So, if the company follows the same strategy, it is very likely that the OnePlus may announce the 5T smartphone in the coming months. Moreover, OnePlus 5T may be equipped with upcoming Snapdragon 836 chipset which was rumored to debut with Google’s Pixel 2 series. Further, the phone may sport top of the line Adreno GPU and 8GB LDDR4 RAM.
The company might opt for the same 5.5 inches Display but with Quad HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 128GB UFS 2.0 ROM, and Latest Android 8.0 aka Android O with Oxygen OS 4.5.8 on the top. The handset may be packed with the same camera module of OnePlus 5 with much improved and refined camera interface and optics. The front camera may sports 16 MP optics with F/1.9 aperture, OIS, and 1080p video recording.
The connectivity option may include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB 3.0. The fingerprint sensor may be contained on the back, and the phone may be fuelled with 3500mAh Li-ion battery. We expect that OnePlus 5T would be launch this year with some serious hardware improvements and more software refinements. The OnePlus is Flagship series is performing quite well world wide, and we expect that the OnePlus 5T would bring in more cheers to the company just like the OnePlus 5 did.
Stay tuned for more info about the OnePlus 5T.
