The month of May has seen many aircraft lowering down its fares to woo more consumer. Keeping in with the competition Government owned Air India has also come up with an offer. The limited period ‘super sale’ scheme will provide tickets to consumers at prices as low as Rs 1,499. The limited offer is available for a limited time frame which will come to an end on 25 May 2016.
Tickets are available to book for the months of July to September. As this quarter is considered to be a lean month for carriers as they do not see a significant number of passengers flying during this time. Even the January-March quarter is not considered to be a very productive month for the aircraft.

The Air India domestic Network issued a statement where it stated that in Air India ‘super sale’ offer tickets will be available for domestic aircraft at attractive fares starting at 1,499(all inclusive)for the quarter of July to September 5.
This move by Air India comes at a time when many other aircraft like SpiceJet, Indigo and AirAsia also came up with lucrative deals on air tickets both international and domestic. SpiceJet was the first one to announce the tickets offers for flyers to celebrate its 11th year anniversary. It offered a one-way fare starting at Rs 511(exclusive all taxes) for domestic flying and gave a fantastic offer on International flight as well.
Seeing this Indigo also came up with an interesting offer where tickets were available at Rs. 800. AirAsia India, which also completed its two years of operation, gave a discount on its tickets to Flyers for some of its route. The discounted tickets were available at the same price range of Indigo.
The tickets are available for booking for a very limited time frame so flyers who are looking for travelling between the month of July to September should go online and book your ticket at the earliest. Also, the tickets are available not only at the official site of the respective aircraft but booking can be made through other portals as well.
