Xiaomi is all set to introduce its upcoming MIUI 7 on August 13 at an event in China. In addition to its latest offering in the form of MIUI 7, Xiaomi may also unveil its next flagship Mi 5 running MIUI 7.
The post appeared on Xiaomi’s MIUI forum confirms the arrival of Xiaomi’s upcoming device to be unveiled on August 13. After a lot of development and testing of the device, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date and the place where the event is going to be held.
Xiaomi initially introduced MIUI 6 a year ago with numerous areas of customization that can prove itself in par with any other devices available in the market.
Xiaomi may also launch its Windows 10 based tablet on the same event. According to GizmoChina, Pan Jiutang states that the device would not be flaunting the same version of Android as it has continued offering in its previous UI.
But, somehow no reports have been found regarding the version of the Windows 10 that could be used with the device whether it is the computer or the mobile version of the Operating System.
Xiaomi may also unveil its flagship smartphone named Xiaomi Mi 5 on the same event. According to rumors around the web, the Mi 5 will feature a 5.2-inch display screen along with Gorilla Glass 4 protective skin plus 2.5 D edges. The RAM capacity is still not known, but a Snapdragon 810 processor would certainly process it.
The Mi 5 will sport a 16MP rear face camera and a 13MP front-facing camera. Xiaomi Mi 5 would be running on upcoming MIUI 7 based on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The device will be fueled by a 3,000 mAh battery.
