Xiaomi Redmi Pro with deca-core Helio X25 SoC launched: Price, spec details

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Pro with flagship grade internals. The company claims that it is the most powerful device in the entire Redmi series of smartphones. The price of the phone ranges from RMB 1499 or about Rs. 15,000 for the lowest variant to RMB 1999 or around Rs. 20,000 for the top-end version.

The main attraction of the brand new device is the dual camera set-up. The Redmi Pro sports a 13 Mega Pixels shooter with Sony IMX 258 sensor along with a 5 Mega Pixels Samsung camera at the back of the phone.

The Sony camera captures still photographs, while the Samsung one adds depth information to the image. Both the cameras work simultaneously. Xiaomi boasts that the dual camera set-up can obtain DSLR-like bokeh effects. The Redmi Pro has an additional image processor dedicated to fine tune the depth of field.
