Xiaomi’s recently released budget smartphones Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime are going up for sale today at 12 PM on Flipkart and Mi official website Mi.com/in. Redmi 3s can be grabbed for Rs. 6,999, while the Redmi 3s Prime comes at a price of Rs. 8,999. This is the second sale by the company; the first sale was on August 17. It’s not known as how many units are going on sale, so interested buyers need to hurry to grab one.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime Specs
Coming on the specifications of Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime, both the smartphones hold almost similar specs but differ only on RAM and storage capacity. The Redmi 3S boasts a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, while the Redmi 3S Prime boasts a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Another differentiating factor between Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime is that the later features fingerprint sensor at the back.
Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime are dual SIM devices with Micro and Nano SIM support. Both the devices sport a 5-inch HD screen with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels IPS display. The device run on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC bundled with an Adreno 505 GPU. Both the Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime bear a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera for selfies and video chatting. The devices are 4G LTE compatible and can run smoothly on Indian LTE bands. The device features a 41000mAh battery.
Xiaomi received a tremendous response in its first sale. Around 90,000 units of the recently launched smartphone, Redmi 3S Prime, were sold out during the first sale in just eight minutes on Flipkart.
According to a report by IDC, Xioami Redmi Note 3 is the most shipped smartphone in the Indian market. The company has sold 1.75 units of Redmi Note 3 in few months. The smartphone was launched in March last year and sports 5.5-inch Full HD display, 16MP rear camera and 5MP secondary camera, Snapdragon 650 and 4000mAh battery.
