Xiaomi Mi Note 2 dual curved display like Galaxy Note 7 spotted online

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been all over the news and rumor mills as fans eagerly wait to get their hands on the upcoming smartphone. It was previously reported that Mi Note 2 could be launched on September 5. Being one of the most anticipated smartphones from the Chinese maker will be available in different display and memory variants targeted at a wide range of the population. There is a new rendered image that has been circulating on the web:

The dual curved display variant will be accompanied by a flat screen variant of Mi Note 2. The curved display is said to come with Quad HD resolution; the flat display will feature a Full HD resolution.

The two memory variants that it will come in are 4GB and 6GB of RAM and will be available in 64GB and 128GB internal storage. Under the hood will be the latest quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor which can offer up to 10% better performance than the Snapdragon 820.

Samsung just launched its latest flagship Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM. The device will have a 3600mAh battery and support QuickCharge 3.0 for superfast charging.

This flagship is the second of Xiaomi smartphones to feature a metal build unibody. The Redmi 4 that is said be launched later this month sports an all metal body. The 4GB RAM variant of Mi Note 2 that has 64GB storage will cost Rs. 25,000, and the 6GB RAM variant with 128GB storage is said to be priced at Rs. 28,000.

The rendered images show the Mi logo on the top left corner and an oval shaped home button that is said to house the fingerprint sensor. The 6.44-inch Mi Max and the Redmi Pro did not feature the front Mi logo. It is now back with the Mi Note 2. The official launch date is set to be announced in the next couple of weeks.
