Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi will reportedly launch a new performance-packed smartphone on September 27 dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 5s.
The company has already started releasing teasers about the device. The latest one released today has the number 164,119, which is believed to be the phone’s Antutu benchmark scores. And it’s no surprise as smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 821 chipset usually get such scores in Antutu.
According to Gizmochina, the teaser further suggests the upcoming Mi 5s will have a lot more features apart from just good hardware. We can expect the smartphone to get 3D Touch, the same pressure sensitive technology that debuted with the iPhone 6s giving users more ways to interact with their smartphones.
Besides, it is also expected to get Qualcomm’s Under Glass Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor. If it turns out to be true, the Mi 5s will become the world’s first smartphone to feature the ‘Under Glass’ ultrasonic fingerprint technology. A technology Apple is rumored to include in their upcoming iPhones.
