Google is expected to release two new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches codenamed Swordfish and Angelfish during early 2017. According to popular leaker Evan Blass aka @evleaks, Google will unveil a pair of smartwatches running Android Wear 2.0 between January and March 2017.

The renders of the new smartwatches powered by Android Wear 2.0 displays one big and small watch. On the left side, you will find the bigger variant with the time reading 6.05.

Moreover, you can view the NYC time, battery indicator, number of emails and other details. The right-hand side features a smaller variant of the watch with the same time. However, there are only details of four parameters.

If you compare the above image, you will be able to view that the strap in the left side watch is bit longer that the gadget on the right side. Moreover, the dial and display size are little small in size for the second watch. We expect Google to release extra optional strap bands as accessories.

If the rumours are to be believed, the forthcoming smartwatches will be the first gadget to ship the new and refreshed release of Google’s platform for wearables. The new platform will incorporate its own app store alongside an enhanced Smart Reply feature.

The first smartwatch expected to be named Swordfish features a 42mm dial that will operate with a single button. The watch also provides support for interchangeable bands and will be available in silver, titanium, and rose gold colour variants.

The second watch variant will most likely be manufactured by infusing latest technological standards with LTE and GPS connectivity. It will function as a standalone watch without depending upon a smartphone.

Moreover, the watch branded as Angelfish also offers a heart rate sensor including three hardware buttons using which you can interact and control the various functions.

As you can infer from the above renders, the new smartwatches are not only circular but also feature a clean look and feel of a typical Google hardware product.
