Smartron an Indian startup which is backed by the cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar was debuted in India last year with the launch of t.book and t.phone is now back again exactly a year later with srt.phone that is being unveiled by Sachin Tendulkar at an event in Delhi in India. The device sports a 5.5-inches Full HD display with Snapdragon 652 SoC.
The Smartron srt.phone is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage. The device will be exclusively available via Flipkart. Smartron is offering a free back cover with Sachin Tendulkar’s signature for a limited period.

The device sports a 5.5-inches Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 510 GPU.
The srt.phone comes in two different variants’ one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and another model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel shooter up front for selfies and video calls.
You have a Fingerprint sensor present on the rear side down below the rear camera module for extra security, it can unlock the device in 0.09 seconds. It also comes with tcloud application with unlimited storage. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, so it supports Jio, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC. A 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm’s quick charge 2.0 support is on board.
The Smartron’s srt.phone sure packs some powerful internals to compete with the competition coming in from Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo.
