The pre-orders for the device have been started on Amazon India. Earlier, there were rumors that the company will announce Samsung Z2 and Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) at the launch event. However, no such announcement was made during the launch event.
Commenting on the launch of Samsung Z2, Manu Sharma, Vice President, Mobile Business disclosed that the smartphone caters to the requirements of new users who prefer to transition from a feature phone. The device comes with free Jio SIM and complimentary access to 4G voice & data. Moreover, with the ultra-data saving mode, you will be able to save 40 percent mobile data. This will help you to experience a cost-efficient 4G while streaming and browsing.
