Saavn, a leading Indian digital music service provider, announced the opening of its newest wing, ‘Saavn Original Programming.’ The new wing has tied up with Neleesh Misra, a journalist and radio icon; podcast network Indus Vox Media as well as digital media brand Arré.
The new business will create long-form audio entertainment shows that will cater to Saavn’s global audiences. Saavn Originals will debut with ten audio shows that are a mix of reality shows, comedy series, documentaries on crime, interviews with emerging and established artists as well as first appearances from the talented but unknown.
The new platform brings a variety of opportunities to entertainers as well as advertisers. Listeners will eventually have a vast genre to choose from as Saavn Originals works in conjunction with Indus Vox to create new and indulgent audio shows.

The shows will line up from the 1st of May, featuring Neleesh Misra on audio-show ‘Qisson ka Kona’ which is a storytelling series and another crime series on the well-known Aarushi case named ‘Trial by Error- The Aarushi Files’ including other shows ‘Time-Machine’ on mythology, ‘Made in India’ on interviews with Indie artists and a comedy talk show with Cyrus. ‘The Paodcast,’ ‘Geek Fruit,’ “Eat. Sleep. Joke. Repeat’, ‘TFG Sports Podcast’ and ‘All Balls’ are others among the line-up.
