realme,India’s fastest growing smartphone brand, introduces three cutting edge technology on its new curved display of realme 10 Pro+ 5G smartphone. Aiming to provide a flagship visual experience, realme’s 120Hz curved display is realized through a $15 million USD investment in R&D. As a result, the curved display, which was previously only available on high-end flagships, is now not only accessible to the masses but also features three world’s first technologies.

The first batch of 2160Hz PWM dimming

2160Hz PWM Dimming technology, for built-in eye protection. Eye protection is especially important when it comes to dark lighting environments, when your eyes are most sensitive to the constant flicker and strobe of your phone’s display. The slower the strobe frequency, the more damaging and straining to your eye, because your eye feels each strobe with greater intensity.

Compared to 480Hz PWM dimming that is standard in even flagship smartphone displays, such as Samsung S 22 Ultra, the 2160Hz PWM dimming of the 10 Pro+ 5G offers a 4.5x improvement in dimming efficiency, and is even 1.7x higher than the IEEE International Lighting Standard of 1250Hz, for true industry-leading eye protection.

The 10 Pro+ 5G will be the first OLED display in the world to receive the TUV Rheinland Flicker Free Certificate, further enhancing eye protection. We went above and beyond with eye protection in the 10 Pro+ 5G because our users have been requesting eye-friendly screens more and more recently.

One of the world’s narrowest bottom bezel of curved display smartphones

The packaging process is premium, and more advanced than anything else out there in a curved display. In order to create a more full-screen viewing experience, realme took the industry’s most advanced packaging technology, COP Ultra, to cut the chin size down to an astonishing 2.33mm, even thinner than the top flagship curved displays.

The First Hypervision Mode

HyperVision Mode makes an already great display even greater, with video color boost and HDR boost. When watching videos with HyperVision Mode turned on, the colors will really come to life, with higher brightness and dynamic range, meaning bright areas will become even brighter, and dark areas even darker, for superior depth of color all around. HyperVision Mode is going to be a game changer for how you enjoy entertainment.
