Rumours are flying thick and fast about the upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship. Now, multiple sources suggest that the handset will get an Avenger’s Infinity Wars Edition in UK with Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of built in storage.
Reports further suggest that Infinity Wars-themed OnePlus 6 is a part of the upcoming movie’s advertising campaign, claimed to be the highest-ever for any Hollywood movie – a total of around $150 million. The Avengers movie is set for release on April 27 and maybe the new OnePlus 6 too is set for debut around the same time.
In other related news, OnePlus also confirmed on Monday that it’ll relocate the earlier OnePlus.net domain to the new OnePlus.com. In addition, the company also announced that a change in its official online store in India from oneplustore.in to oneplus.in.
As per earlier leaks, the OnePlus 6 is said to come with Snapdragon 845 chipset bundled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for the top-end version. Also, there’ll be another variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. Further, a wooden textured rear is also being speculated, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei also revealed that the handset will feature a notch display, like the iPhone X. He also explained the importance of a notched display and how the company streamlined the software for a seamless user experience. Besides, the upcoming OnePlus flagship is also said to feature a dual-lens primary camera setup with the rectangular fingerprint sensor and the company logo emblazoned underneath.
Elsewhere, alleged leaked renders of the handset also suggest the handset may come in three colour variants – White, Blue, and Black.
Meanwhile, the company has already discontinued the OnePlus 5T in several markets globally, which only suggests the company is planning an early release of the OnePlus 6.
