Nubia Red Magic 3 gaming-focussed phone launched in India

Nubia Red Magic 3, the highly-anticipated gaming smartphone has finally launched in India. The company announced that it’ll begin selling the gaming-focused phone starting 27th of June exclusively via Flipkart.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 is offered in a choice of two variants. The base model, which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at INR 35,999, while the handset’s top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at INR 46,999.

Specifically designed for hardcore gaming, the Nubia Red Magic packs high-end specifications and gaming-focused features. These include liquid cooling with an internal turbofan, stereo speakers, capacitive shoulder triggers, and a 90Hz HDR compatible display.

Under the hood, the handset gets powered by Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM.

Upfront, the Nubia Red Magic 3 sports a 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The screen boasts a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 430 nits brightness, along with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

To further enhance the gaming experience, the Nubia Red Magic 3 packs dual-front facing speakers with DTS:X and 3D sound support. The company also touts the handset’s advance cooling system, which facilitates efficient heat dissipation and enhances overall performance.

Elsewhere, the Nubia Red Magic 3 packs a 5000mAH battery with support for 27W wireless charging, which the company claims offers up to 1 hour of gaming with just 10 minutes charge.

As for cameras, the Nubia Red Magic 3 features a 48MP single-lens primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and support for 8K video recording at 30fps. For selfies, the smartphone gets a 16MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 2.0-micron pixel size.
