Nextbit Robin cloud smartphone back in stock on Flipkart from June 15

Nextbit Robin, the first ever cloud-based Android smartphone, is back in stock on Flipkart by popular demand. The first batch of the much-awaited smartphone went on sale in India on May 31 at a price of Rs. 19,999.

Those who were not able to pre-order the device then can buy it now at the same price. The second batch of Nextbit Robin is up for sale starting June 15, 2016. The smartphone will be available in Midnight and Mint color options.

Looking back at the specifications of the device, the Nextbit Robin clad in polycarbonate body boasts a 5.2-inch Full HD LCD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the top. The device encases a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor complemented by a 3GB and offers 32GB of internal storage space. Robin also sports a dual front facing speakers while a fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side lock/unlock button. A 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera are installed on the device.

The phone runs on the company’s Nextbit OS, based on Android Marshmallow 6.0. On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with 4G LTE support, 3G, NFC, Wi-Fi 802, USB-Type C, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and more. Even though the internal storage cannot be expanded using microSD card, the smartphone ships with free 100GB of cloud storage.
