Moto M launched in India for Rs 15999, sale starts tomorrow midnight

Motorola has released Moto M in India with an all-metal body at Rs. 15,999 as Flipkart exclusive. The new Moto M will be available for sale at 11.59 PM on December 14. The main highlight of Moto M is that it ships with P2i’s nano-coating, which is water-resistant.

To attract customers, Lenovo is offering a discount of Rs. 1,000 in association with Citibank. Moreover, you will get an additional discount of Rs. 2,000 upon exchange of an old working display intact smartphone.

Moto M ships with Helio P15 processor

On the specifications segment, the Moto M features a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, Helio P15 processor, 4GB RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB internal storage. The phone can be extended up to 128GB. However, you have to make use of the second Nano-SIM card slot. The handset gets its power from the 3050mAh battery with fast charging support.

With a clock speed of 2.2GHz, the Moto M has been loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. We expected Android Nougat considering its availability.

Moto M features 16MP rear camera sensor

While the rear camera is equipped with a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF support, the front-facing snapper comes with an 8MP sensor. The selfie camera includes Beauty mode, which enables you to improve the capture images.

In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Moto M provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, NFC in addition to a traditional headphone port. With a weight of 163 grams, the Moto M offers fingerprint scanner and Dolby Atmos sounding system.

Regarding pricing, the Moto M with 32GB storage capacity is priced at Rs. 15,999. However, Motorola hasn’t announced the launch of 64GB in India. We expect the 64GB to cost Rs. 19999 when it is launched in India within the next few days.
