Apple released the much-awaited Apple MacBook Pro in both 13-inch and 15-inch variants with a Touch Bar. In fact, the Cupertino-based tech giant has released four models – two for each display. Microsoft also released the much-anticipated Surface Book with a new hinge design. In this article, we will compare the specifications of both Apple MacBook Pro and Microsoft Surface Book.

Apple MacBook Pro features a 15.4-inch LED IPS display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels at a pixel density of 220PPI. Apple MacBook Pro featured Radeon Pro 450 with 2GB of GDDR5 memory alongside the default Intel HD Graphics 530. In the case of the higher 512GB storage mode, you will be able to work with Radeon Pro 455 with 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired with default graphics.
Microsoft Surface Book features NVIDIA GeForce dGPU with 1GB GDDR5 memory. Moreover, if you extend the Book via the performance base, you can work with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M 2GB graphics.

The new Apple MacBook and Surface Book are hard-core machines. They are meant for power users and not for budget freaks. If you look at the pricing, the newly released gadgets are expensive. If you convert the price into Indian currency, you will find it expensive. We expect Microsoft to release the new Surface Book around January.
