Lenovo Smart Clock and Smart Display with Google Assistant launched in India

Lenovo debuts its Smart Home portfolio in India with the launch of Lenovo Smart Clock and Smart Display. Both devices get powered by Google Assistant will go on sale in India, starting early September. The Lenovo Smart Clock features voice and touch inputs, and can be used to perform several tasks such as setting alarms, checking the calendar, and playing podcasts. The Lenovo Smart Display is a typical Google Assistant power display smart device that lets users watch videos on YouTube, or make video calls.

Lenovo Smart Clock: Specifications and Price

The Lenovo Smart Clock is essentially a digital smart clock that uses Google Assistant and touch inputs to perform tasks such as playing music, managing schedules, and setting alarms. It can even be used to control other smart home products such as security cameras, smart light, and, more. It features a 4-inch touch screen display to help users perform the tasks as mentioned earlier. The Lenovo Smart Clock gets a price tag of INR 5,999.

Lenovo Smart Display: Specifications and Price

The Lenovo Smart Display packs a full HD (1920X1200 pixels) IPS display with dual 10W full-range speakers. It’ll be offered in 8-inch and 10-inch screen options. Under the hood, it gets powered by Qualcomm’s Home Hub Platform based on Snapdragon 624 coupled with 2GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

It also features a 5MP wide-angle camera for video calls with support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Powered by Google Assistant, users can command the smart display to play media from services such as YouTube and Spotify. It also acts a media viewer can be used to view Google Photos. Besides, it also offers navigation information and comes with support for over 5000 smart home products.

The Lenovo Smart Display has been priced at INR 14,999. Both devices will start shipping in early September and will be available for purchase via Lenovo stores, Flipkart, as well as in stores like Croma and Reliance Digital.
