The upcoming flagship from Huawei’s sub-brand, the Honor 10, is slated for a release in India sometime during May and will be a Flipkart exclusive, according to the company. Key sources indicate that the handset will be priced around Rs.35,000 and rival the OnePlus 6, which is also expected to arrive in May.
In the Chinese market, the Honor 10 is priced at CNY 2,599 (approx. Rs. 27,200) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant and CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 31,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage version.
In terms of specifications, the Honor 10 sports a 5.84-inch Full HD LCD display. Under the hood, the phone runs Huawei’s in-house Kirin 970 processor bundled with 6GB of RAM. The handset comes in a choice of 64GB and 128GB storage options. While juicing up the handset is a 3400mAH battery with support for Quick Charge.
As for cameras, the Honor 10 features a dual-lens rear camera (16MP+24MP) with LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, the handset comes with a 24MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The Honor 10 will be offered in a choice of Black, Grey, Mirage Blue, and Mirage Purple colour variants.
