As WhatsApp has already become the primary driver for the Indian consumers on messaging platform, the BookMyShow eyeing the opportunity to offer the seamless service to their customers by provides instant feedback via WhatsApp channel.
So, when the users book their tickets from BookMyShow will now receive a message on WhatsApp regarding the confirmation text, M-ticket (mobile ticket) QR Code, along with an email. Moreover, the now customers can easily interact with the customer’s support of the company to avail feedback in case of any mishap.
Commenting on the partnership with WhatsApp, BookMyShow, Head of Product, Ravdeep Chawla said, “At BookMyShow, we are constantly taking measures to enhance our users’ experience on our platforms. Keeping up with their changing preferences and habits, we decided to integrate BookMyShow with WhatsApp for its pilot. We have already started rolling out this feature and over the course of next few weeks, we aim to scale it to cover our entire user base.”
Nonetheless, the WhatsApp has recently unveiled the business model in India through which the small and medium enterprises can create an instant communication channel which their customers.
