Apple will most likely launch three new iPads in March, which includes a bezel-less 10.9-inch variant. According to Barclays analysts, the upcoming iPad model is scheduled to receive a refresh in 2017 and will be released in March.
The main highlight of the forthcoming Apple iPad is the integration of a bezel-less 10.9-inch display panel. There are reports that new iPad will occupy the same dimensions as the currently available iPad Air, which measures 9.7-inch display.
According to reports from multiple sources, both 9.7-inch and 12.7-inch models will be updated alongside the launch of new iPad in March. You should note that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro will not be shipped with a premium tag even though it has Pro name on it.
The tablet will offer basic entry-level specifications in the budget segment. You can expect it to be priced similarly to that of the iPad Mini. Meanwhile, the 12.9-inch variant of the iPad Pro is expected to be refreshed with a True Tone display, which is similar to that of the existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
According to industry analysts, the rumored bezel-less 10.9-inch iPad will provide a hint as to how the iPhone 8 with an edge-to-edge AMOLED display will look like. We can feel the design structure of the edgeless display panels well before the launch of the forthcoming iPhone 8.
The latest rumor is that the Cupertino-based tech giant will not update the iPad Mini variant. Previously, it was widely reported that the iPad Mini is set for a big refresh. However, this seems to be highly unlikely as per the latest reports.
