Apple released its most awaited iPhone of the year; iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The only rival which can give a tough competition to iPhone 7 is the recently release Galaxy Note 7. Samsung also skipped the number six from the Note smartphone lineups. The main feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is the S-Pen, but iPhone 7’s is a product of Apple. Let us see how these smartphones make you admire them.
iPhone 7 vs Galaxy Note 7: Display
The Apple’s iPhone 7 comes with 4.7 inches retina HD display with 1334 X 750 resolution, and Samsung Note 7 shows off 5.7 inches Super AMOLED full HD display. A black (or whatever color your iPhone is) bezel runs around the Apple’s iPhone 7 display. But in Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the display is almost bezel-less. Every smartphone user will go for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 unless he is a die hard Apple fan.
iPhone 7 vs Galaxy Note 7: Camera
iPhones are always known for its cameras so even if I tell you that Note 7’s camera is better, then you should not believe me (Samsung fan). Coming to specs, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is fitted with 12 MP Dual Pixel sensor with a brighter f/1.7 lens. Apple iPhone 7 comes with 12 MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and a six element lens for better low light pictures.
iPhone 7 vs Galaxy Note 7: Performance
Apple keeps everything above performance (number 10 at keynote) and does not believe in numbers. We don’t know the numbers just the cores; Apple iPhone 7 runs on Apple A10 Fusion chip with four cores and GPU is six cores. Apple also hasn’t unveiled the RAM; we only know that the new iPhone 7 is ten times faster than previous iPhone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 packs an Exynos 8890 octa-core chip comprised of one 2.3 GHz quad-core Mongoose and one 1.6 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 chips. Samsung added enough RAM (4 GB) in Note 7 to run games and apps in multitasking.
iPhone 7 vs Galaxy Note 7: Operation System
Apple iPhone runs on iOS 10, the latest version of iOS with lots of new features and improved performance. The iOS 10 is now in preview mode, but soon it will get official and latest iPhones will get this update.
Samsung tried lots of OS in its smartphones, but the one who gets popular and Note seven is running is the Android OS with Touch Wiz UI. TouchWiz UI is a bit slow in some Samsung smartphones but runs smoother in Samsung’s flagship smartphones. Note 7 is running on the latest TouchWiz UI specially crafted for Note 7 to perform faster.
iPhone 7 vs Galaxy Note 7: Battery
As I’ve told you before that Apple doesn’t believe in specs, Apple said in the keynote that the iPhone 7 stays up for 2 hours more than the previous iPhone. So, to know about the actual battery backup, just add two more hours to what your iPhone 6 battery backup is.
Samsung upgraded its Note 7’s battery to 3500 mAh, and it supports wireless charging. The wireless charger is made so you can take full advantage of the Always on display.
