MediaTek India with the collaboration of World Health Partners, today announced a 240-day cardiovascular program in UP, India. This program will focus on five districts of Uttar Pradesh including Barabanki, Basti, Bahraich, Gonda and Balrampur. This Campaign was initiated to look at the gap between the availability of resources and also to identify the requirements of patients.
With this campaign, early diagnosis of heart diseases would be easy to recognise so that the treatment will be available immediately via telemedicine services.
MediaTek has developed a screening tool that will help users remotely identify the cause of disease and provide the needful resources. This screening tool is based on a cloud auto solution. This cloud-based tool might be helpful to remove the distance barriers in rural areas.
As per the recent estimates provided, India will become the first country to have the highest medical cases of cardiovascular disease, and by the end of 2030, an estimate of 35.9% deaths because of this disease will be registered.

The motive of this campaign is to spread the awareness in rural areas, prevent this disease and recognise the symptoms. The Team of WHP will be screening a film to create awareness about it among the people. The company also said that around 40 camps will be organised by the volunteers across these districts.
According to MediaTek, the company is aimed at solving the problem with the help of WHP, and it has already identified the room for improvement in the healthcare sector and treatment support in UP, India.
WHP, on the other hand, is planning to collect over 1,200 ECGs and organise the camp for a duration of 240 days in rural areas.
