1More 1M301 In-ear Headphones Review: Amazing Sound and Build Quality

1More Earphones 5

1More is a new California-based brand, recently stepped into the headphones market and already won a lot of awards for design and sound quality. The latest one which we are going to test is the single driver 1M301 in-ear modules from 1More. It comes with 8mm dynamic drivers which seem to be a good deal in Rs. 2,799. Here are our thoughts about the single driver 1M301, check it out.

Unboxing and Design

1More 1M301 comes in a nice small packaging, opening the box reveals a plastic case which encases the rubber piece on which the 1M301 headphones are wrapped on. The plastic case also holds the three pairs of ear tips in three different sizes; XS, S and L, under the plastic case, are the warranty card and one 1More sticker. One small carry bag and one clip are packed in another small box, the clip is made of metal.

The 1More 1M301 are sturdy and the design is very much appealing and the buds have some weight to them. The buds are made of some quality aluminium and the matte finish ups the beauty of them. The wire from the Y-separator is regular rubber wire but the main wire is covered with nylon braided sleeve all the way to the 3.5 mm plug.

The 3.5 mm Plug is straight and made of same aluminium as the earbuds. As the cable is braided, it won’t get tangled in any way, even if you put them in your jeans pocket. The remote control is made of plastic and doesn’t feel premium at all, the buttons have a feedback and perform some extra tasks like answer calls, skip track and control volume (works even in Windows PC).

Specifications

  • Impedance: 32 ohms
  • Frequency Response: 22Hz -22KHz
  • Cord length: 1.25m
  • Weight: 15g
  • Driver diameter: 8mm
  • Sensitivity – 98 dB/mW
  • Type: Dynamic

Performance and Comfort

1More 1M301 is very comfortable as the buds got all the weight and the wires are almost weightless. The earbuds are angled and fit in ear perfectly, the angled buds help the headphones to stuck in ears and won’t fall off easily. The 3.5mm audio plug is straight which is great and best companion for smartphones and tablets (not laptops).

Coming to sound quality, I am very much impressed with it, I tried it with various devices and 1M301 produces the best sound with all devices. Because the driver is dynamic, there is a nice amount of bass and lows are pretty good. The sound overall comes clear and with lower volume levels, you can enjoy music but increase the volume above 70% started to pierce the ears.

Pros

  • Sturdy build quality
  • Amazing sound quality

Cons

  • Highs could be better

Verdict

Overall the sound quality is great but the only problem is the vocals are not that great as I thought it would be. The build quality is great and it comes with a good case which you can use to store it or you can use the fabric pouch (I recommend the plastic case). The 1More 1M301 is available on Amazon for Rs. 2,799.
