Yu Yureka Black gets Android 7.1.1 Nougat update

Yu Yureka, the sub brand of Micromax Informatics, has rolled out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Yu Yureka Plus smartphone. The device was launched running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and during the launch the company has promised to roll out updates quickly and just as it promised, here is the update for Yu Yureka Black users.

To get this update on this phone, users have to follow these steps precisely.

  1. Navigate to the Setting option of the phone.
  2. Tab/select on the Phone option.
  3. Select or tap Software update.
  4. Tap on the download option and install the update.

The Android 7.1.1 operating system brings the features like Split-screen multitasking, Direct reply, Bundle Notification, Quick Setting, Doze mode, Manual display calibration, and call blocking. Yu Yureka Black smartphone was launched way back in June this year. The phone has come with a price tag of Rs. 8,999.

The phone sports a 5 inches Full HD IPS display which comes with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB RAM. This dual SIM smartphone comes with a 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, Yu Yureka Black comes with a 13MP rear optics which comes with PDAF and dual LED Flash. While on the front there is an 8MP optics which comes with f/2.2 aperture. The phone is also enriched by a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the home button. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3000mAh Li-Po battery which claims to provides 21 hours of talk time.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0. The phone comes in two colors variants i:e Matt Black and Chrome Black and launched with a price tag of INR 8,999.
