Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro with dual front and rear cameras launched

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has now been officially launched in Thailand. The handset is the successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, and comes with several upgrades such as dual selfie cameras, dual rear cameras, notched display with an aspect ratio of 19:9, and AI-powered features.

In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a 6.26-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display having an aspect ratio of 19:9. The screen boasts a screen to body ratio of 86 percent and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Under the hood, the smartphone gets powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 processor bundled with Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB of built-in storage.

In the photography department, the Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera setup with AI Portrait 2.0 and Dual Pixel autofocus. For selfies, the handset gets dual shooters on the front with a 20MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor coupled with AI face unlock capabilities. Juicing up the device is a 4000mAh battery that is promised to last two days on full charge.

As far as pricing goes, the 4GBRAM/64GB storage variant of the handset is priced at THB 6,990 ( INR 15,700 approx.). The devices is offered in choice of Black, Blue, and Rose Gold colour variants. That said, there’s no word about the handset’s availability and price for the Indian market. However. we’ll update you as soon as we hear anything new. Until then, keep checking back for more.
