Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has reportedly passed 3C certification in China. Even though we don’t know the device name, there are reasons to believe that a new flagship smartphone has just passed the Chinese 3C certification website.
The data listed on the website doesn’t have any reference about Mi Note 2. However, the charging specifications signal the fact that the new device should be a high-end smartphone.
The first column reveals a long number, which we expect to be that of IMEI. The second and third column indicates the company name. However, you can find names of two companies such as Millet Communication Technology Co Ltd and Xiaomi Communications Co Ltd.
On the fourth column, the name of a third-party company has been listed. From the data, we could infer that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with an advanced display technology. The fifth column signifies that the device is supposed to be a 4G LTE mobile.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Features: Fast charging
According to the listing, the new smartphone provide support for 5v 2.5A, 9V 2A and 12V 1.5A charging capacities. Hence, the total maximum wattage will amount to 18W, which signifies that the new device will be equipped with fast charging support. Furthermore, we could decipher that the new handset will be manufactured by Foxconn.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Specifications: Curved display
Recently, the leaked image of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was leaked online, which reveals a curved display paired with a sleek metal unibody. Xiaomi is tipped to release both standard and curved variants to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD IPS (2160×3840, 773PPI) Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protected the curved display, Snapdragon 821 processor, Adreno 530 graphics, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage. If the rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi will be the first manufacturer in China to integrate Snapdragon 821 processor.

Moreover, the device will be equipped with a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash and autofocus. There are reports that the device will offer only 4MP front-facing snapper. However, we expect at least 8MP sensor.
Xiaomi will probably integrate a 4000mAh battery and fix the price as low as $526 in China to beat Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The recently released Redmi 3S accompanies a massive battery of 4100mAh capacity. Hence, the company is giving more importance to the battery just like other internal specifications.
In India, Xiaomi has already introduced Mi Max and Redmi 3S within two months. We expect the launch of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 in China in August. The device will be launched in India around October/November timeframe.
