The famous Chinese brand Xiaomi has launched the 32GB ROM variant of Mi Max 2 smartphone in India today. The company made the announcement via its official Twitter account. Notably, the Xaiomi Mi Max 2 was launched earlier with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs. 16999.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 specifications
The Mi Max 2 sport a 6.44-inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display which comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM. The Mi Max 2 is now available in two ROM variants, i.e., 32GB and 64GB.
This Hybrid Dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system with MIUI 8 on the top. The Mi Max 2 adheres a Fingerprint sensor on the back and its fuelled by a 5300mAh Li-ion battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology as well. On the optics front, the smartphone is equipped with a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor backed by dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, and f/2.2 aperture.
While up front, there is a 5MP camera that comes with F/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens. Regarding connectivity, the Mi Max 2 is packed with a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The smartphone is measured at 174.1×88.7×7.6mm and it weighs around 211grams.
Prices and Availability
The 4GB/32GB variant of Mi Max 2 will be available in Black color option and it comes with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. However, consumers can grab the smartphone at Rs. 12,999 as an introductory offer. The device will be available on September 20 at 12 PM IST via Amazon.in, Mi.com & Mi Home. Notably, the 4GB/64GB variant is currently available at these online retailers for a price tag of Rs. 16,999.
