Now send money through Paytm even without internet

Paytm

Paytm has launched a new initiative with which you can call a toll-free number to perform online transactions without the Internet. According to industry analysts, this effort will boost Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetization efforts.

To work with the new system, you need to dial 1800 1800 1234 and remit payments through Paytm. You can perform transactions even if you don’t have an Internet connectivity using feature phones. If you are not willing to access the Internet from your smartphone, then you can use the newly created mode for cashless transactions.

Using Paytm with the new toll-free number

Firstly, you have to keep the toll-free number handy. You should create a four-digit Paytm PIN on call. Your merchant should also set the PIN. After that, you need to provide the mobile phone number of your relevant merchant or recipient.

The next step is to enter the required amount which you need to transfer. Finally, you need to provide the intended recipient’s Paytm PIN. The amount will be transferred to the recipients Paytm account. You should be very careful while performing transactions because incorrect keying of the number will result in a wrong transfer.

That being said, you need to open an active Paytm account before transferring cash. You can top-up your Paytm account either by logging into your account or by visiting an offline Paytm cash point.

Aggressive promotion by Paytm after demonetization

The work that was carried out by Paytm after demonetization of old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes are phenomenal. The company is aggressively promoting its services and motivating people to adopt cashless initiative. However, the company had to face the ire of politicians who criticize the addition of PM Modi’s image on their newspaper ad.

The future is cashless and you should know about the various available possibilities to conduct a safe and secure digital transaction to fulfill the Digital India initiative.
