Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) with 8-inch display and 4G LTE Announced

Samsung has introduced a brand new tab in its Tab A series; the Tab A (2017) in Vietnam. It sports an 8-inches WXGA display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM. It comes in both Wi-Fi only variant and 4G LTE model depending on the market. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) will be available in Black and Gold colors and is priced at 6490000 Vietnamese Dong (US$ 285 / Rs. 18230 approx.) for the 4G version. The Tablet is already on sale in the country.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 just as the name suggests sports an 8-inches (1280×800) WXGA TFT display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 308 GPU. There is 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Moving to the camera, the device features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for video chats. Connectivity features include 4G LTE with voice calling(Optional),WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4 + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS / Beidou. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) measures 212.1 x 124.1 x 8.9mm and Weighs in at 364grams. A massive 5000mAh battery is on board for all the battery requirements.
