We’ve already seen superhero-themed editions of the Galaxy S9 flagship. Now, Samsung and Vodafone have joined hands to bring something for fans of Formula 1 (F1) racing.
The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ Red Bull Ring limited edition have been launched in the Netherlands. This limited edition of the handset comes in a Red Bull racing themed box. The box includes a special Red Bull ring case that is equipped with NFC capabilities. And as soon you put on the cover, the handset automatically switches to a Red Bull Racing theme that transforms the wallpaper, app icons, as well as the Always On Display.
Vodafone Netherlands seems to be the only offering the Red Bull racing themed Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. They are now open for purchase on Vodafone’s official Dutch website and will be available only until April 27.
The Galaxy S9+ will set you back by €30.69 down and €55 a month for 6 GB of data and unlimited calls and texts. While the smaller Galaxy S9 will cost you €54.69 down and €48 a month on the same plan. Customers in the Netherlands who buy the limited-edition Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ with a Red Unlimited plan can also avail two weekend tickets for the upcoming Formula-1 Grand Prix in Austria.
