Samsung Galaxy S7 Review Pc-Tablet Media

The leaked specifications of Samsung Galaxy S7 reveals a 5.7-inch display with 12.2 MP camera. It also features a Turtle Glass instead of Corning Gorilla Glass, which is usually included with the Galaxy series. We are unable to verify whether S7 will have a curved or flat screen after inspecting the leaked images.

The upcoming Galaxy S7 will be manufactured using magnesium alloy and will have Turtle Glass, which is stronger than Gorilla Glass.

The devices will be powered with either Snapdragon or Exynos chipset. There are reports that S7 smartphones shipped to the United States and China will feature the new Snapdragon 820 chip.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will have the same 4GB RAM like its previous counterparts. The non-removable 3500mAh battery likely to supply power to S7 devices will have the capability to charge quickly within 30 minutes. However, the Galaxy S7 Plus and Edge+ models will ship with larger batteries with a capacity of 5000mAh.

Samsung is expected to include USB Type-C port with the new S7 devices. The port enables faster data transfer and multitasking including reversible cable support. It is possible to use the port for several purposes at the same time.

There are reports that Galaxy S7 will feature a pressure sensitive display such as Apple’s 3D Touch. The camera will be powered by patented Britecell technology that make use of a new RGBW pattern and light sensitivity technology. It will have the capability to capture pictures up to 20MP. There is no confirmation as to whether Samsung makes use of Sony sensors.

If the rumours are to be believed, you can expect the return of the microSD card slot in Galaxy S7 including the addition of iris scanner. Samsung is also planning to launch 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch variants in addition to a premium edition with 4K display.

There are unconfirmed reports the Galaxy S7 Edge will have the same display size as S7. However, Galaxy S7 Edge+ will most likely feature a 5.7-inch display with a 2560×1440 resolution.

Galaxy S7 should be released in February 2016 instead of April starting from $649.99 for 32GB model. The 64GB is expected to be priced at $749.99. The Edge models will be priced slightly higher at $100 more than S7.
