Samsung launched its Galaxy On8 in India on 27 September 2016 at a price tag of Rs. 15,900. The display is Super AMOLED and 5.5-inch in size. As far as the storage is concerned, the phone spaces a 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB) backed by a 3GB RAM that is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor.
For photography, the primary camera on the Galaxy On8 is 13MP and the one on the rear is 5MP with LED flash. The 4G VoLTE connectivity is portrayed as the main feature of the smartphone. The phone is said to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The On series is known for offering a high-end spec-sheet at affordable prices. Now the VoLTE support is a major feature in the device because of Jio reasons.

This festive season has seen an aggressive launch strategy by Samsung in India. The Galaxy On8 is a part of this. The Galaxy Note 7 after a controversial period is said to make its way into the market on October 7.
