Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Price in India: Now available starting at Rs. 53,900

Samsung Electronics has expanded its Galaxy Note line-up with the launch of its latest flagship phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in India at a launch event few days ago in New Delhi. Price starting at Rs. 53,900, the Galaxy Note 5 is a successor to last year launched Galaxy Note 4, with a design similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, launched last month.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 sports a narrower bezel and curved back that lifts the phablet fit in one hand. The flat screen and the curved 3D glass back allows for the finest grip.

New Galaxy Note 5 exhibits a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display of 2560 x 1440 PPI with QUAD HD resolution. The display is further protected by latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. With increased 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 runs on latest available Android Lollipop-based TouchWiz UI on top. It boasts a 3,000mAh battery along with Samsung’s fast wired and wireless charging. With wired technology, the device can be fully charged in 1.5 hours approx., and through Samsung’s wireless charger, the phablet can be charged in 2 hours approximately.

The Galaxy Note 5 sports a 16MP rear snapper with Smart Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) with Real Tone LED flash support and a 5MP secondary snapper on the front side. The primary camera is also capable of shooting 4K video and also features Live Broadcast, which lets consumers instantly live stream Full HD video straight from the device.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes with an upgraded version of Side Sync, which offers both wired and wireless syncing of the smartphone with PC or tablet for all-in-one connections across devices.

Also, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 is fortified with improved security features like KNOX Active Protection and My KNOX to protect further sensitive, work and personal data.

The Galaxy Note 5 comes with all new S-Pen stylus with unique clicking mechanism that offers improved writing capabilities and variety of practical tools. Whereas, the “Air Command” feature also gets more practical and intuitive as well.

Availability & Price of Samsung Galaxy Note 5

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be available in two different storage variants i.e. 32GB and 64GB, priced at Rs. 53,900 and Rs. 59,900 respectively. Available in three different color options: Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Sapphire, the phablet will be available in the market from 20th September 2015. Whereas the pre-order for the device has begun.
