Reliance Jio has officially announced the door delivery of 4G SIM in select cities. However, the official website (jio.com) has been crashed since the morning of October 31. As of writing this, we are unable to access the website. We expect that the site has crashed due to heavy rush of customers to book the 4G SIM.
According to sources, a popular tech based portal revealed that the company has launched the 4G SIM door delivery system in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, and Ahmedabad.
To avail the door delivery service, you need to perform few steps. Reliance Jio will not accept invitations via telephone. Instead, you should invite the team to your location.
Steps to procure Reliance Jio 4G SIM
If you are based in Navi Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Pune, and Ahmedabad, you should visit the official website of the Reliance Jio and complete the form by providing your personal details such as name, telephone number and address.
As soon as you have registered for the 4G SIM door delivery system, an executive from Reliance Jio will arrive with the eKYC machine. You should keep your Aadhaar card and also need to download MyJio app to your 4G-enabled handset. This will enable you to generate the required welcome offer code.
After verification, you need to provide the Aadhaar card details and also need to grab the required fingerprint details on the eKYC machine. The executive will hand over the Reliance Jio 4G SIM card, which will be activated within 15 minutes.
The entire process for obtaining the Reliance Jio 4G SIM is paperless as envisaged by Reliance Industries chairman, Mukesh Ambani during the AGM meeting on September 1.
