Reliance Jio 4G SIM offer extends to Asus, Panasonic after LG and Samsung

Reliance Jio has started its 90-day free “Preview Offer” for Asus and Panasonic smartphones. Users of selected phones from these brands will now be eligible to get a free Jio connection. This adds to the huge existing list of smartphones of LYF, Samsung, and LG. Some users reported last week that Jio had opened the same offer to any 4G smartphone user, but it hasn’t been publicly announced. This gives more credibility to COAI’s claims. The Preview Offer essentially offers users with free unlimited access to internet data, calls, and messaging, along with Jio’s suite of apps.

How to avail Reliance Jio 4G Preview Offer:

  • Download and install ‘My Jio’ app
  • Click on the ‘Get a Jio SIM’ option
  • Generate an offer code
  • Visit a Reliance Digital or Digital Xpress store and submit an ID proof, address proof, and two passport-sized photographs
  • After the verification of documents, you will get a unactivated SIM
  • It takes at least 24-48 hours for the SIM card to get activated
  • From the activated SIM dial 1977 for tele-verification
  • This gives you access to the Jio 4G mobile data (note: unlimited offer not yet activated)
  • On the home page of the My Jio app, there is an option to install other Jio apps.
  • After installing the eleven apps (mainly Jio Play, Jio Beats, Jio Video-on-Demand, and Jio Money), close and reopen the My Jio app
  • Tap on the ‘Submit’ option to enable JPO for the coming 90 days
