Oracle upgrades Cloud EU in Germany: benefits include a wide range of security essentials for businesses

Global tech major, Oracle has brought in some enhancements to its cloud in Germany. These changes include the addition of ‘Infrastructure as a Service’ (IaaS) and ‘Platform as a Service’ (PaaS).

Thomas Kurian, president of Product Development, Oracle said,”The expansion of the Oracle Cloud EU Region in Germany will deliver the best cloud services, not only our leading Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings but also our new PaaS and IaaS offerings.”

Oracle’s suite of mobile business applications and Oracle Mobile Cloud Service has received advanced security features. In order to facilitate this, the company has forged a relationship with VMware.

VMware is a subsidiary company of Dell technologies that specializes in virtualization software and services.

Oracle also come up with “FastConnect”, a program that enables enterprise cloud connectivity for global members of Oracle PartnerNetwork.

FastConnect creates a high-throughput that provides an easy and cost-effective ways to come up with dedicated and private connectivity to Oracle cloud.

Oracle Cloud provides about 1,000 SaaS applications to its customers in over 195 countries. Now more than 25,000 organizations around the world are leveraging Oracle’s cloud applications to transform various business functions and take up the tested modern practices.
