Nokia X6 was officially lauched today at an event in China. The highlight of the handset is its notched display and almost bezel-free design.
The base 4GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the handset gets a price tag of CNY 1299 (Rs. 13,800 approx). The 4GB RAM +64GB storage model is priced at CNY 1499 (Rs. 16,000 approx.), while the top-end model with 6GB RAM+ 64GB built-in storage costs CNY 1699 (Rs. 18,100 approx.). All three models also get microSD expandability upto 256GB.
The Nokia X6 sports a 5.8-inch Full HD display having an aspect ratio of 19:9 with ultra thin bezels on the sides. Under the hood, it gets powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor.
In the camera deaprtment, the Nokia X6 gets a 16MP+5MP dual-lens camera with Eletrnic Image Stabilization, HDR, along with bokeh mode. It also gets AI integration to offer imptoved photography. For selfies, the handset comes with a 16MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity options on the handset include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, USB Type C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and FM radio. The handset also featurs a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Juicing up the handset is a 3060mAh battery.
In terms of OS, the Nokia X6 is likely to run Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
HMD Global, for now, has only launched the Nokia X6 for the Chinese market. At the time of writing, there’s no information as to whether the Nokia X6 will be launched in other global markets. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear anyhting new. Until then, keep checking back for more.
