Months after the global release, HMD Global has now finally launched the Nokia 9 PureView in India. To recall, the camera-centric phone was first unveiled at MWC 2019, Barcelona, earlier this year.

As noted, the Nokia 9 PureView’s main highlights are its Penta-lens rear cameras. Having said that, other key specs of the device include Snapdragon 845 SoC, in-display fingerprint scanner and a QuadHD+ display. Let’s talk about its full specifications and pricing information.

The Nokia 9 PureView comes with a 5.99-inch POLED display with a Quad-HD+ resolution of 1440×2960 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The display supports HDR10 playback and bears an in-display fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU at its core. It is coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Similar to other Nokia smartphones, the PureView runs stock Android 9.0 Pie.

For photography, the device gets a total of five rear cameras with Zeiss certified lenses. It comprises of three 12-megapixel monochrome sensors and two 12-megapixel RGB sensors, each with f/1.82 aperture. All the sensors capture images simultaneously and fuse them together to form a single 12MP photo with high dynamic range and depth. In the front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

Additional features include IP67 water resistance, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port. However, there’s no 3.5mm jack on the device. Lastly, the phone measures 155 x 75 x 8 mm and weighs 172g.

Nokia 9 PureView Price in India

The Nokia 9 PureView price in India has been set at Rs. 49,999 for the only model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It’ll be available across all major retailers in Midnight Blue colour starting July 17.

As for the launch offers, consumers buying the device from Nokia’s e-store can avail a gift card of Rs. 5,000 and Nokia 705 earbuds worth Rs. 9,999 under the limited period offer.

Whereas, customers buying the handset offline can get 10% cashback on HDFC Bank Credit cards and Debit cards via Pinelabs terminals. Interestingly, the company is also offering 10% cashback on HDFC consumer durable loans at retail outlets till August 31st.
