HMD Global’s much-awaited mid range smartphone Nokia 6 finally go on sale on Amazon.in today. The smartphone was unveiled by the company way back in June this year, and its registrations were started last month. Only registered consumers will have a chance to grab the phone today and the customers who are planning to buy this phone, but haven’t registered for today’s will have to register for next sale on August 30.
HMD Global; just as it promised has made the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 available in India by August-Mid. The Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inches Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by the 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The Nokia 6 smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box and will get the Android 8.0 Oreo update in future. Moreover, the smartphone is fuelled by a 3000mAh of Li-ion battery.
On the camera front, the device features a 16MP rear camera with F/2.0 aperture, and Dual Tone LED Flash. While on the front there is an 8MP front camera which comes with 84˚ wide-angle lens and F/2.0 aperture. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, OTG, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the home button and a dual speaker, Dual smart amplifiers (TFA9891), and Dolby Atmos.
The Nokia 6 comes in four color variants i:e Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper and it comes with a price tag of INR 14,999 exclusively via Amazon.in. However, there are some launch offers which are associated with this phone. Makemytrip.com is offering flat Rs.2500 off (Rs. 1800 on hotels & Rs.700 off on domestic flights). While Amazon is offering 80% off on Kindle eBooks which cost up to Rs. 300. Amazon prime member will Rs. 1000 cash back if they buy using Amazon pay balance. Vodafone consumers 9GB additional data per month on the purchase of 1GB Data for five months.
