Nissan launches integrated car platform ‘NissanConnect’ in India

Nissan India – the India subsidiary of Japanese multinational Nissan Motor Company Ltd has introduced its integrated car platform for Indian market on Thursday. Named as “NissanConnect,” the integrated car platform of the Japanese carmaker will facilitate drivers with informative and communication assistance while driving. NissanConnect is developed by Renault Nissan Technology Business Centre India (RNTBCI) and is equipped with a Connected Car Technology solution alongside an integrated Telematics Control Unit and an in-built SIM for making the driving experience more smooth and secure.

NissanConnect is an integrated car platform which will connect the smartphone of a user with the car and provides relevant information and communication assistance about their sedans. The new software platform is accessible across Nissan’s range of cars including Micra, Sunny and Terrano. NissanConnect offers over 50+ Connected Car features alongside a course of three years free subscription as well as one year of Nissan warranty program which will be fired up when the user will activate the platform. As confirmed by the spokesperson of Nissan, the integrated software platform is specifically developed keeping the Indian drivers in mind. For having this platform, users simply need to contact their nearest Nissan dealership store and activate the NissanConnect app on the acquisition of any of new Nissan sedans like Micra, Sunny and Terrano. Once activated, the app can be connected with users smartphones for providing smart assistance.
